TrueStrike™ - Golf Feedback Mat

I wish they had cool practice tools like this when I was learning the game! I got this for my son, so he and I were playing with it when it arrived. Now it’s still cold and not golf weather where we live in Northern NY, so we can’t take it outside and use it with full swings yet. But we did try it with swings inside and it truly does what it’s supposed to do…amazing. My son is still new at golf, and he’s very excited to get this out on the driving range to improve his swings. I may have to borrow it too to see if it can teach an old dog some new tricks. This is such a clever training gizmo. It seems pretty well made so I hope it holds up for him.

I’ve been on and off golfing for most of my life and consider myself an ok golfer. However as I’ve gotten older my swing hasn’t necessarily gotten better with age. Picked this up just to see where I’m going wrong. Turns out it’s not that easy. While this device does and excellent job of showing me where I’m hitting and hitting wrong, what it pointed out to me most is that I’m consistently inconsistent. Some perfect swings, some hooks some slices and everything in between. Not the fault of the device, in fact it worked perfectly. It just pointed out that there is no one thing I need to change, there are many things that lead up to a good swing. On the plus side this will allow me to practice to become more consistent.

The pad itself is well constructed and really love that it also comes with a fairway and rough insert as well as a bunch of tees for practice. The included practice balls are good for indoor practice and outdoor use.

I'm an avid golfer, so I have seen these all over the place on social media. Glad to finally have one since it provides great immediate feedback on how well you've hit the ball! It's is also very sturdy. When you hit, it doesn't slide around. I have used it quite a bit and it is holding up well.

This really is a useful tool. It gives you immediate visual feedback on your swing mechanics and ball placement. You can make adjustments within minutes and it maximizes productive practice time and starts to condition positive habits rapidly in your game. Good to use at the range as well as at home, really easy to use anywhere you can swing a club safely and in a relaxed manner.

This is a really good tool to work on your swing. My son has been using it almost daily for the past several weeks and its holding up well. There are many similar mats online but I prefer this one as its the full kit as well as reliable quality. Most swings aren't going to move it at all.
